Dear Dauber,

The weather has turned cloudy and humid, but makes me feel the days of Autumn pressing upon us.

You must be playing with Grey Hounds taller than you, while lapping up the days of being a wonderful dog, as well as missing us.

Remember those long thunderous nights, where we'd huddle together, shaking by the sound of thunder, then playing and rolling over couches and beds; barking, laughing, and living happy lives.

We were magnets, interlocked by the force of gravity.

Our house is more welcoming and festive, with fall colors and beautiful cabin-themed pictures dangling from the wall. You remember it-- don't you?

I just want to say goodbye, good luck! I hope you live the best you can, and have the happiest life a dog could ever have!

I have grown to be a full pledged teenager, but still have a big enough heart to cry for you. I have grown into a person you may no longer recognize, but would leran to love, I promise.
